Retail store redesign and visual merchandising

I manage the retail store redesign program and create visual merchandising planograms to create a cohesive brand identity within Parks Canada Visitor Centre stores and drive sales.

I manage and implement large budget retail store redesign projects. Starting with the statement of work, I work closely with an external interior designer, vendors and the budget owner to develop newly designed retail stores that align with both creative’s vision and the client’s priorities. I coordinate with the external designer, client and vendors to facilitate delivery of merchandising materials on time and within budget.

I create visual merchandising planograms, source merchandising accessories and collaborate with the graphic design team to create promotional posters.

To date, we have designed and visually merchandised 26 stores. This has created a cohesive brand vision within the stores as well as increased each store’s business by an average of 59%.

Travelled to Lake Louise Visitor Centre to visually merchandise newly redesigned store. Led a visual merchandising training session with Lake Louise and surrounding Parks Canada Visitor Centre customers to teach them how to strategically merchandise their store to drive sales.

Create visual merchandising planograms for each store based on their sales history, merchandise on hand and store layout. Advise store on merchandise to purchase to achieve the best visual layout that will drive sales.

Collaborate with graphic designer to create bilingual promotional posters.
